SLC multi-leaf volume control dampers have been specifically designed for use in ventilation systems for volume, flow and pressure control. In addition, the type C2 with side and tip seals provides low closed blade leakage performance. Type SLC dampers are available for square, rectangular, circular and flat oval ducting.
The casing is a rigid and robust assembly formed from channel frame with re-inforcing corner brackets incorporating corner holes to suit most flange system ductwork. The blades are extruded double skin aerofoil section. Damper has opposed blade action. Blade tip seals can be fitted for low leakage applications. The dampers can be fitted with hand locking quadrant or can be operated by electric or pneumatic actuators.
