In the middle of Melbourne’s Docklands is the heritage listed and recently renovated Goods Shed North building. The building was constructed in 1889 and is now home to VicUrban, the state government’s sustainable urban development agency. The tenants, together with developer worked to deliver a new benchmark for adaptive reuse; they wanted a space that was sustainable and state-of-the-art. The result is the state’s first 5 Star Green Star heritage-listed building which is a stunning example of adaptive reuse, providing a space that is as comfortable for those who work there as it compelling to observe. 

TROX DID600B active chilled beams, passive beams and floor diffusers are incorporated into the design to provide an aesthetic as well as a green solution for thermal comfort and ventilation for the occupants.
